Family Nudism: Saunas & Hot Tubs
Friends & Family Getting Naked Together
CALL IT "PASSIVE" NUDISM. PEOPLE SEE A HOT TUB OR SAUNA AND WANT TO TAKE THEIR CLOTHERS OFF. HAVE PLENTY OF TOWELS.
There are people who would never consider themselves “nudists” but have no qualms about enjoying their home hot tubs and saunas in the nude, even with friends and young family members. Taking your clothes off is just what you do when a sauna or hot tub beckons.
It Puts The Holidays In A Whole New Light When
Kids Are Coming Home From College With Their Friends
My first encounter with this was in Austria during a Christmas holiday. After a day of skiing we all thought a hot sauna sounded like a good idea. We were staying in a family run pension with a sauna/hot tub/cold plunge pool in the basement. We asked the hostess if it was available to us and she said sure, but that her son and daughter and friends were using it too but that wasn’t a problem.
We grabbed our suits and headed down. To our surprise, the kids weren’t wearing any. They were nude. Stark naked, to drive the point home. They genially said “hello” and then went back to whatever Austrian teens talk about when they’re sitting around naked together.
Half of the party joined in the nudity, as did I. After a few minutes the nudity was just in the background. In the following days hitting the sauna became a habit, the highlight of my day really, and by the end everyone went naked and even lingered in their nudity over beers and sausages brought down by our hostess to a little dining area off the spa. For her, seeing all her guests naked was as natural as could be.
My wife and I later installed a sauna and hot tub in our home, both adjoining the backyard deck. If you want to see your friends naked, do the same. You don’t have to do any coaxing. After a few drinks they’re the ones to ask probing questions like, “Is that thing hooked up?” “Maybe we should all take a sauna, ha ha.” In winter of course it’s the smokers who get things going as they’re out in the cold having their smokes. They’re always the first.
Our kids have now grown up with the idea that hot tubbing and sauna taking are things one does in the nude, and they and their friends often enjoy them that way. With the holidays it can get pretty busy, and the dryer is always on overtime with the wet towels. I admit when my daughter, now college age, enjoys our “spa” with her friends, I tend to find things to do in the kitchen which overlooks the deck. I’m not a pervert. It’s only prudent that I keep an eye on my investments. Nudist House: Hot Tubs & Saunas
