Nudist Naked Truths
Nudism Can Be A Mixed Bag
Above all, nudism offers us a glimpse into the human condition in
its most basic form - without the trappings of societal fashions,
i.e., clothing, which obscures and obstructs. But once these
obstructions are removed, how should we look? Where can we look for
Since antiquity the "nude" in art has represented idealized forms of the human anatomy, typically female but including idealized male forms as well. Realism was a secondary consideration, as in 'we know what we look like, but how should we look, or aspire to look like?' Various media offered the clues (stone, paint on canvas, etc.). Subsequent civilizations over the millennia gave us varying interpretations, but strikingly, these idealized forms have remained fairly consistent for thousands of years. The woman above is representative.
Where we are today in relation to these idealized forms is also striking. Thirty-four percent of us are morbidly obese, another thirty-seven percent merely carrying an unhealthful bit of extra weight, leaving about twenty-nine percent within the "target zone" of healthful poundage. That means seventy one percent of the population doesn't look so hot, especially in the nude. That's bad news for the great democracy of nudism, which advocates that we not be ashamed of our naked bodies. Frankly, the majority of us should be ashamed, and be taking corrective measures.
Not All Nudists Are Created Equal
But you knew that already. For that reason we try to crop these
unsightly aberrations of the human condition (the overweight) so
that we can celebrate, with great fervor, the beauty of the human
form (particularly female) where it most resembles our more
classical aspirations. Of course there's an abundance of evidence
(but sadly, shrinking) in the more youthful populations. From there,
regrettably, fewer remain true to the more optimal proportions. It's
a shame because it's not that hard to do.
Some complain about our anti-obesity policy, especially when their submissions are not published. Look, we understand that you might still find your wife "hot" - familiarity and shared histories can have that effect, which is fine. However, those of us without that familiarity or history might not find her as attractive as you do. When a man in a long term relationship beds his mate, he see his high school or college sweetheart before him, regardless of the state she's in today. That's just how it works. It's not communicable.
If we've pissed anyone off we regret it. It's not like we can offer a refund as we don't charge anything for membership. There are plenty of sites out there that aren't as picky. Ed
Yes, I'm Proud Of My Breasts: Topless Freedom Day was a success, which is good news, as any nudge to having our U.S. beaches resemble those across Europe and Australia is good thing. These daring participants are very frank about their anatomies, and their rights, and their goods. "Women are both proud and insecure about their breasts. If a man admires them we do get a little boost. When we see someone taking our picture, we don't gasp. Instead, you'll see us straightening our posture to give our breasts some lift."
As we're probably a long way from having the same number of clothing optional public beaches that dot Europe, the idea of universal toplessness is that much more appealing as, frankly, it's within reach. It gives women the upper hand as fair as enjoying the general (but often personal) excitement of being "exposed" in public. "To a woman going topless is just about as daring as going nudist. So if we're topless and men can't remove their bottoms, we've got the edge." Well yes, you would have. Topless Women

Nudists At Home
Body freedom on nudist beaches is fairly self-evident - these people are uninhibited! The same spirit manifests in some homes as well, as evidenced in Nudist House and Candid Nudity. As a personal experience, (say, behind closed doors), it manifests as well, and in utterly appealing ways (if you're the type to appreciate such expositions).
The web is of course submerged in "self-pics" and a slew of keyword-derivative (always "teen" something) type sites, but few if any present their evidence with much respect or veracity and worse, any mediation. Putting aside the fake sites and porn fronts means you're left with a few honest "artistic" interpretations of what teen and coed life is like behind closed bedroom doors or in dorms around the country. Some of the sites are very pleasant, of course, but seldom real.
For real teens, their private bedrooms are social habitats, where, with their friends, they let their hair down as well as their trousers, try on fancy underwear, kid around and openly fantasize (and do they ever). They also click away at each other with their digital cameras. The way they mugged for each other in "private" is, to say the least, charming We honor their free-spiritedness with our respect.
