The typical response is people feel they're either not fit enough (so, get fit) or it's just too risqué for them. It's in fact not at all risqué unless you go out of your way (say, to Hedonism II or III). At most nudist resorts and on most nude beaches most if not all of the people are just plain folks. What attracts them aside from the view? It's just fun to do. Why fuss about the other reasons?

Getting up the nerve to drop your drawers isn't that tough when everyone around you, from toddlers to geriatrics, is already in the buff and seemingly enjoying themselves. There's not much to it. Chances are you'll have a moment or two of tumescence (male or female--look that one up) but you're probably the only one that will mind. ("Nudist Newbies: Couples Taking The Plunge")

Nudist Girls: Julie, who bills herself as our resident "bi-sexual editor," has an uncanny knack for getting young nudists to pose for her (not that it's that hard, actually, but it's the subjects she finds that stands her photography and video apart).
