The feature "Getting Naked With Girls" prompted a lot of memories from members and opened a lot of shoeboxes and under-the-mattress stuffed envelopes, from both men and some women reconnecting with their early adventures with nudity and the opposite sex. These "first times" weren't always with girlfriends so much as those Tomboys we grew-up with through grammar school and junior high. We "blossomed" together, so to speak, and became an ever increasing mystery to ourselves and to each other. We didn't even necessarily understand why the notion of getting naked was so exciting (in some cases sex-ed hadn't quite come into the mainstream).

As we got older our adventures became bolder. Out in broad daylight in fields, in our backyard pools while mom and dad watched Carol Burnett inside. Off came the jeans and tops and underwear and then, as stated before, the swift examinations, the taking it all in. One girl I knew had never seen a penis, not even on babies. She was fascinated and horrified with my own. It took a while before we gained the courage to touch and feel, each foray like a lighting strike to regions heretofore unknown to us. the following engorgements and flushes confirmed something was afoot.

Girls We Knew
One submitter said despite the several marriages and serious relationships that followed her naked Tomboy adventures with boys, it was those early experiences that counted most in her "sensual memories bank." For some these memories are not that old and the photography digital rather than film or polaroid. For some it rekindled the urge to Facebook (good luck there).

Getting Naked On Boats
From my own shoebox I excavated a few memories of my own. In high school we lived on a lake with row boat rentals, and I discovered early on the magical properties of water to induce impromptu nudity. I introduced several girlfriends to this property of water. I'm very tempted to write their real names (why?) but won't. It feels like yesterday that I was encouraging her to take her top off, she challenging me to remove my bottoms, and both of us, with mock protest, readily complying. The photos I took of her on my little Kodak camera have stayed with me forty years, through two marriages of my own.

Okay, I'll give one first name. Connie. We still email occasionally. So far our adventures from back then haven't come up, but I'd like her to know what they meant to me. Getting naked with her when I barely needed to shave was a gift from the Gods. When I'm in need of inspiration, it's Connie I go to. Someday I'll thank her for that.
